The wine boasts an attractive spiciness. The initial sip speaks of stewed fruit and ripe black currants but eventually leads you into the most subtle tannin structure – a fantastic food wine.

Vinification
Grapes were harvested at 25° Balling, de-stemmed and sorted on a sorting table to select only the best berries. Only the first 70 liters per ton was used. The grapes were cold soaked for 48 hours and fermentation took place at 28° Celsius. The wine was pumped over 5 times a day, pressed at 3° Balling and pumped over to barrels where MLF took place, followed by racking. Over the year the wine was racked, then lightly filtrated during the bottling process.
